Heb 10:32-39 But recall the former days in which, after you were illuminated, you endured a great struggle with sufferings: 33 partly while you were made a spectacle both by reproaches and tribulations, and partly while you became companions of those who were so treated; 34 for you had compassion on me in my chains, and joyfully accepted the plundering of your goods, knowing that you have a better and an enduring possession for yourselves in heaven. 35 Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. 36 For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise: 37 For in just a very little while, "He who is coming will come and will not delay. 38 Now the just shall live by faith; But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him." 39 But we are not of those who draw back to perdition, but of those who believe to the saving of the soul. Rehearse the former days when you first realized the truth -

Heb. 10:32a But recall the former days in which, after you were illuminated

Realized you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.

He always causes you to triumph in Christ Jesus.

That in Christ Jesus all things were possible.

That you could endure anything the enemy threw at you because you always had the WAY of escape.

Rehearse your VICTORY of endurance (your patience) - Heb. 10:32b you endured a great struggle with sufferings; 33 partly while you were made a spectacle both by reproaches [insults] and tribulations [pressures];

Great affliction [hardship - emotional or other influence]

1 Peter 2:20-21 For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted {to rap with the fist} for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God. 21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: KJV

Rehearse relationships with people that live in VICTORY over great struggles of insults and pressures of all kinds. -Heb. 10:33b .... and partly while you became companions of those who were so treated

1 Cor 15:33-34 Do not be deceived: "Evil company corrupts good habits." 34 Awake to righteousness, and do not sin; for some do not have the knowledge of God. I speak this to your shame. NKJV

BE CAREFUL WHO YOUR COMPANY IS. IT MIGHT BE THE ENEMY.

Rehearsed that God showed that you have authority through faith in Jesus and you used it for someone else. - Heb. 10:34a for you had compassion on me in my chains...

He moved on your to fulfil the great commission and you did.

You acted like Jesus.

Rehearsed the fact that "if the devil can’t steal your joy he can’t keep your goods. That eternal things are more real than natual things.- Heb. 10:34b and joyfully took the plundering of your goods, knowing that you have a better and an enduring possession for yourselves in heaven.

2 Cor 4:16-18 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. 17 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. 18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

Rehearse spiritual laws - Heb. 10:35 Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. 36 For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise:

Rehearse the fact that the amount of time until the promise totally appears is not relevant with faith. - Heb. 10:37 For in just a very little while, "He who is coming will come and will not delay.
