Psalm 127:1-5

Unless the LORD builds the house, its builders labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the watchmen stand guard in vain. 2 In vain you rise early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat--for he grants sleep to those he loves. 3 Sons are a heritage from the LORD, children a reward from him. 4 Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth. 5 Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their enemies in the gate. NIV

Daddy know whose over the HOME
Vs. 1a Unless the LORD builds the house, its builders labor in vain.

The Lord must keep the house.

Daddy is involved in making the COMMUNITY a better place to live
Vs. 1b Unless the LORD watches over the city, the watchmen stand guard in vain.

The Lord must keep the city.

Daddy brings security to the INDIVIDUAL because he follows the Lord
Vs. 2 In vain you rise early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat--for he grants sleep to those he loves.

His "beloved" are at rest.

Daddy loves and values his children.
Vs. 3 Lo, Children are an heritage from the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.

Daddy is satisfied because his faithfulness, guidance and example has paid off.
Vs. 4&5 4 Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth. 5 Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their enemies in the gate. NIV
